​“I relish the notion that my music might evoke the essence of a potential story or film without being tethered to one - my work draws heavily from cinema and still shots in films, as they seem to have the ability to evoke this profound emotional response in me. I have a particular affinity for stationary film shots over moving ones, akin to photographs but infused with subtle movements, including auditory elements—gentle rustling leaves, passing pedestrians, or distant sounds just beyond the frame. On occasion, I enjoy experimenting by synchronizing my music with existing music videos, playfully imagining them as my own creations. This cinematic quality has perpetually been a profound influence on my work. This was the case for much of the tracks on this body of work; I often sensed that a track was progressing in the right direction when it seamlessly complemented the visuals in videos I was referencing.”
