Batu – Question Mark

The first transmission from Lethal Press, Oath's boutique sister label, and a concentrated new statement from Batu. Metallic arpeggios with no obvious cues, a heavy bass hook on Seize, a dembow-leaning crawl on Clump, droning sub and fluid pads on Meridian. UK soundsystem weight, advanced synthesis, club music refusing to be predictable. Omar McCutcheon sharpens bassweight, tension and sound design into a precise record with traces of dubwise abstraction.
