Jascha Hagen – Songs For A Future Generation
Oath's third LP, and an album of contrast. Jascha Hagen bends house, deep house, downtempo and techno around long-form progression: live-instrument energy on QQQ and Slide Through the Valley, quiet rooms on Rivers of Absence, Too Far and Swaying, conceptual turns on L7 Dream, Gem and XX Blues. Carefully sequenced, fluid, alive. Rhythm, melody and structure stay flexible throughout, never fixed genre markers.
