Rteph88 (Robin Taylor-Firth) & Steve Cobby – The Seven Dogs

Two old hands of 90s electronica in one room: Robin Taylor-Firth and Steve Cobby. Floating piano over a soft swing, a worming bassline, a reverb-soaked slow drift, whimsical keys over simmering drums. Four warm, unhurried conversations between keys and drums, made for hot days and chill-out rooms. Early Doors opens on gentle piano, the title track pushes forward on layered chords, Visiting Hobo slows right down, and Titled lets the drums simmer to a close.
