John Beltran – Para Viajeros
Music for travellers. Detroit's John Beltran points his instruments toward the Balearic sun: polyrhythm, horns and piano on Em Trancoso, hazy morning lift on A Dança da Manhã, floating keys on Kumbatia, and an open, reflective close on Mallorca. Decades of techno, ambient and jazz distilled into ease. Breakbeat, future jazz and house all echo here, with the same sensitivity to melody, texture and feeling.
