Loz Goddard – Balloon Tree Road
An album that sounds like a road you remember. Manchester's Loz Goddard weaves airy plucks, live percussion, jazz improvisation over tumbling breaks, TR-8 electro on Sun27, a rain-soaked field recording on Orange Blue Green and lo-fi house strings on With You, then lets Train To Somewhere fade out slowly. Textured, optimistic, wide open. Bye For Now layers percussion, rising pads and warbling keys into an organic sense of motion.
